New details have surfaced about the latest BMW 3-Series. Changes are noticeable both outside and inside the car. The first thing to note is L-like running lights, a modified bumper and grille. Several modifications will be available - M Sport (with chrome parts) and M Sport Pro (with red calipers and M-brakes). On the front panel there is a rather large display of 12.3 inches, as well as a touch screen multimedia system of 14.9 inches. In the basic configuration, the car is equipped with three-zone climate control. In terms of handling, all versions of the 3-Series have an 8-speed automatic with shifting under the steering wheel. Engines are still petrol or diesel, with a capacity of 156, 184, 252 and 340 horsepower. But there will also be a few hybrid options, about which there is no additional information yet.

And although all this is strongly reminiscent of science fiction, engineers from Audi have already implemented this project. The new headlights can project traffic symbols, warning signs and even video games onto the road or any vertical surface! The first vehicles to receive smart headlights will be the Audi e-tron Sportback and the Audi A8.

As standard, the car is equipped with a heat pump, so that the range in cold weather should not be reduced. The maximum speed is limited to 180 km/h.

It is worth noting that representatives of Volkswagen announce the film as "a film about the birth of a legend." The development of ID.Buzz lasted for 7 years. During this time, test models managed to visit the most extreme climatic conditions on real roads from the south of Spain to the north of Scandinavia. Models ID.Buzz and ID.Buzz Cargo have been tested for resistance to dust, precipitation, moisture, heat and frost. The suspension of the car showed excellent handling, especially on icy sections of the road. Artificial tests in a special freezer with a temperature of -20C showed that the mirrors thawed after 3 minutes.

To stir up interest on the eve of the premiere of the car, which is scheduled for May 2022, BMW has released a teaser of the long-awaited BMW X1 crossover. According to confirmed data, the new model will be presented for the first time in two different versions - on a classic diesel engine, as well as in a fully electric version. The BMW X1 will match the corporate identity, but will get a more interior appearance and tangible dimensions.

In his opinion, new cars of A and B classes will be produced both with internal combustion engines and with electric motors, although the emphasis will still be placed in favor of the latter. This will be possible thanks to the new MMA platform, which was originally developed for electric vehicles, but adapted to classic gasoline and diesel engines. According to Christoph, in the first place for Mercedes-Benz, of course, are electric cars, and the new MMA platform will debut in 2024 on class A cars. Later, it will also be used for the CLA fastback, GLA and GLB SUVs, as well as for B-class minivans.

Technology in the automotive industry does not stand still. Like mushrooms after rain, new concepts and technological solutions appear to change our lives for the better. One such solution is the development of a new type of tire from Michelin in conjunction with GM. We are talking about a completely different approach, when instead of one air chamber we have a tire with many small stiffening ribs inside. Due to the combination of different types of materials and alloys, its properties are not inferior to the pneumatic tire, while the advantages become clear. This technology has been tested and approved for use on the new Chevrolet Bolt EV models, which will be the first production vehicles to use Uptis technology tires. According to preliminary data, the car will be available only in the station wagon, and the sedan line, produced for 49 years, will stop. Already in the second quarter of 2022, the construction of a new Audi FAW NEV plant with a capacity to produce 150,000 cars per year should begin! The first talks about planned cooperation were heard back in 2020. Then, for the first time, rumors appeared that the German manufacturer Audi was ready to create a joint venture for the production of electric vehicles, together with Chinese comrades from the FAW corporation. But now there is more detailed information from the Volkswagen concern. Its representatives said that already in April, Audi and FAW Group will launch the construction of a plant in Changchun (the capital of Zilin Province).
