The Skoda Enyaq Cargo electric van has been unveiled in the UK

Skoda has officially introduced a new commercial version of its electric crossover — the Enyaq Cargo. This model was developed specifically for the UK market and is aimed at corporate customers looking for an eco-friendly alternative to diesel vans. The Enyaq Cargo will soon join fleet operations across the country.

The conversion of the standard Enyaq was carried out by Strong Plastic Products Ltd. Key modifications include the removal of the rear seats and the installation of a modular cargo compartment made of durable and lightweight plastic. With a flat floor and integrated lashing points, the van is well-suited for safe and convenient transportation of various goods.

The passenger and cargo compartments are separated by a partition with a small window. The rear doors have been retained, but the window regulators were removed and the glass was heavily tinted, helping the model maintain the appearance of a standard Enyaq. This makes it ideal for companies that want to preserve the image of a modern EV rather than a conventional van.

The Enyaq Cargo is available based on the rear-wheel-drive Enyaq 85 with a single electric motor or the all-wheel-drive SportLine 85x with dual motors. In both versions, total output is 210 kW (286 hp), and the 77 kWh battery provides a WLTP range of up to 578 km for the RWD model and 534 km for the AWD version.

The van supports fast charging at up to 135 kW, enabling a charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 28 minutes.

Maximum payload capacity is up to 640 kg, making the Enyaq Cargo a practical solution for urban logistics and delivery.

Despite its commercial purpose, the Enyaq Cargo retains the standard interior trim and all familiar features, including modern infotainment systems and driver assistance technologies. This ensures a high level of comfort in daily operation.

Skoda Enyaq Cargo will be available exclusively to fleet owners. The base price for the Enyaq 85 starts at £44,310 (approximately $59,700), while the Cargo conversion adds another £1,815 (around $2,500).
