The flagship sporty version of the Elroq model — the new Skoda Elroq RS

Skoda Auto has unveiled the flagship sports version of the Elroq model — the new Skoda Elroq RS. Just six months after the global premiere, the electric compact crossover has received an RS version with two electric motors delivering a total output of 250 kW and all-wheel drive. The driving range exceeds 550 km according to the WLTP cycle, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 5.4 seconds — making the Elroq RS the fastest production model in Skoda’s lineup. The crossover stands out with its signature RS design, a high level of standard equipment, and advanced technologies.

Johannes Neft, Skoda Auto Board Member for Technical Development, noted: “RS models from Skoda have always combined dynamic performance and sporty styling with everyday usability. The Elroq RS is no exception. It delivers 250 kW, can travel more than 550 km on a single charge, and the optional DCC adaptive suspension ensures the perfect balance between comfort and driving excitement. Moreover, the Elroq RS is the first in our sports lineup to feature the new Modern Solid design language.”

The Elroq RS was the highlight of Milan Design Week (April 8–13, 2025), where it made its debut following a digital presentation. The public unveiling took place in an art space featuring installations by Italian artist Marcantonio, visualizing the brand’s philosophy. In collaboration with Czech footwear brand Botas, a limited sneaker collection inspired by the Elroq's style was also presented.

The Elroq RS is powered by two electric motors (one per axle) that provide all-wheel drive and a combined output of 250 kW. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. The battery capacity is 84 kWh (usable — 79 kWh), providing a driving range of over 550 km. With DC charging of up to 185 kW, the battery charges from 10% to 80% in about 26 minutes.

Black exterior accents and alloy wheels up to 21 inches emphasize the vehicle's dynamic look. Standard equipment includes a sport chassis, progressive steering, matrix LED headlights, and rear lights with dynamic indicators. The driver’s seat comes with electric adjustment and massage function as standard, while a similar seat for the front passenger is available in the Maxx package.

The front features a new glossy Tech-Deck Face design with integrated sensors including radar. A standard LED strip with vertical “lashes” and a distinctive four-eye headlight signature is included. The Coming/Leaving Home animation creates a light show when approaching or leaving the vehicle.

Distinctive RS features include black window trim, roof rails, hood and tailgate lettering, mirror housings, and reflective strips spanning the bumpers. RS badges adorn the front fenders. Aerodynamic alloy wheels are available up to 21 inches in size.

The model is available in all offered paint colors, including the signature RS shade — Mamba Green. Rear and side windows are tinted, and the side windows are acoustic. Towbar preparation is standard, with an electric version available as an option.

The interior is designed in Selection RS Lounge style — predominantly black with Suedia microfiber trim, lime-green stitching, and carbon-look decorative elements. A heated three-spoke leather steering wheel with green stitching and RS badge completes the look. Sport seats with integrated headrests, heating, and stainless-steel pedal covers are included. The driver’s seat offers memory, massage, and lumbar support functions, which are also available for the front passenger in the Maxx package. Three-zone Climatronic climate control is standard. Mechanical rear window blinds are part of the Advanced package.

The Digital Cockpit (5") and multimedia display (13") are standard. The augmented reality head-up display is available in the Advanced package. All elements are styled in RS design. The heating sensor activates up to four functions with a single touch.

The Elroq RS features a sports suspension lowered by 15 mm. The progressive steering is RS-calibrated. Traction mode is available with AWD. Optional DCC suspension offers up to 15 individual settings. The front brakes are enhanced with two-piston calipers. Through the multimedia system, users can select between two exterior sound profiles: Sport or Futuristic.

The Skoda Elroq RS is equipped with the latest version of Travel Assist:

The updated MySkoda app supports remote parking functions. The owner can initiate the maneuver via smartphone while standing nearby with the key. Route memory for parking spots (up to 5 routes) is also implemented.

Powerpass provides access to over 800,000 charging stations across Europe. Plug & Charge enables automatic authorization and convenient DC charging (up to 185 kW).
