The second generation of the Audi Q5 Sportback is presented as a dynamic and versatile coupe-SUV, combining a sporty silhouette with the practicality of an SUV. The new model stands out with a more expressive design, improved aerodynamics, and modern technologies, while retaining a spacious interior and functionality.

The car is built on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) and equipped with the advanced MHEV plus system with a 48-volt electrical circuit. This reduces emissions, improves comfort, and allows short-distance driving in fully electric mode. The torque generator adds up to 230 Nm and 18 kW of power, while the recuperation system recovers up to 25 kW of energy during braking.

The Q5 Sportback trunk holds up to 515 liters (470 liters in the SQ5 Sportback), and with the rear seats folded — up to 1415 liters (1388 liters in the SQ5 Sportback). The maximum towing capacity reaches 2400 kg.

The exterior design features a wide Singleframe grille, sharp LED headlights, a dynamic roofline, and sporty accents. The standard configuration comes in the exterior advanced version, while S line and SQ5 Sportback offer a more aggressive style. The top SQ5 modification includes redesigned sporty bumpers, a distinctive diffuser, and signature dual exhaust pipes.

The interior follows Audi's new design philosophy, with a focus on ergonomics, digital panels, and premium materials. The space is styled in “Softwrap,” while the Cascade upholstery and Dinamica microfibre are made from recycled materials. The cabin atmosphere combines technology, comfort, and sustainability.

At launch, the Q5 Sportback will be available with three powertrains:
-
2.0 TFSI (204 hp, 340 Nm) with front-wheel drive or optional quattro,
-
2.0 TDI (204 hp, 400 Nm) with all-wheel drive,
-
the top SQ5 Sportback with a V6 TFSI (367 hp, 550 Nm).

All versions are equipped with a 7-speed S tronic transmission and the MHEV plus system, which adds up to 24 hp. In the future, the lineup will be expanded with plug-in hybrid versions.

The European sales launch is scheduled for December 2024. The base price starts at €54,800, while the top SQ5 Sportback version will be available from €85,400.
