Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the facelifted version of its flagship 2025 S-Class sedan. The premiere took place in China — one of the brand’s key markets. The starting price is $132,000, while the top-tier version exceeds $280,000.
The model’s dimensions remain unchanged: length — 5320 mm, width — 1921 mm, height — 1503 mm, and a wheelbase of 3216 mm. A new visual highlight is the impressive “starry” light projection that activates when the doors are opened.

Inside, there’s a 12.3-inch 3D instrument display, a central 12.8-inch OLED multimedia screen, and a head-up display. Rear passengers benefit from two 11.6-inch screens and a 7-inch tablet to control climate and comfort settings.
The intelligent MBUX system has received an upgraded voice assistant that now recognizes commands from both the driver and rear passengers. A new Level 2+ driver assistance system has also been added, which analyzes road conditions and anticipates the actions of other road users.

The seats now offer ventilation, massage, and reclining up to 43.5°, significantly enhancing long-distance travel comfort. The powertrain lineup includes the following options:
- S 400 / S 450 L — a 2.5-litre 6-cylinder engine with a 48-volt starter-generator, delivering between 313 and 367 hp;
- S 500 L 4MATIC — a 3.0-litre engine producing 449 hp;
- S 450 e L — a plug-in hybrid with a total output of 408 hp and up to 108 km of electric range (WLTC).

The updated Mercedes-Benz S-Class 2025 continues to set the benchmark in the premium sedan segment, combining cutting-edge technology, luxurious comfort, and refined design.
