The 2025 Lexus ES will feature fast charging up to 80%

Lexus has officially unveiled the new generation of its premium ES sedan for the European market. The eighth-generation model reflects the brand's new approach to design, technology, and comfort — and is now available exclusively in electrified versions: both hybrid and fully electric. The exterior of the 2025 Lexus ES has undergone major changes. Geometric lines and dynamic proportions give the body a sleek, futuristic look. The profile has become more aggressive, with a pronounced “nose,” sloping roofline, and sharpened rear. The lighting is shaped like arrows and connected by a slim LED strip running across the entire width of the rear. Door handles are flush with the body and extend automatically when approached.

Although the Lexus ES retains the TNGA-K platform, its dimensions have increased: the length now measures 5140 mm, the width is 1920 mm, the height is 1555 mm, and the wheelbase has reached 2950 mm. This provides more interior space, especially for rear passengers.

The interior is even more advanced and premium. The center console combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a 14-inch multimedia display angled toward the driver. Climate controls are now touch-sensitive, and between the front seats there is a compact gear selector joystick instead of the traditional lever.

Passenger comfort is enhanced with options like electrically adjustable rear seats with extendable leg rests, a three-zone climate control system, and a Mark Levinson audio system with 17 speakers — turning the cabin into a mobile cinema.

The hybrid versions are equipped with 2.5-liter gasoline engines paired with electric motors. The base version delivers 204 hp, while the more powerful one produces 247 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 to 8.2 seconds.

The fully electric ES is available in two versions: the front-wheel-drive 350e with 224 hp, and the all-wheel-drive 500e producing 343 hp. The latter accelerates to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds. Both models are equipped with a 77 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 530 km (WLTP). Fast charging up to 80% takes just 30 minutes.

Production of the new model will be organized at Toyota’s Japanese factories, with European sales expected to begin in late 2025. Prices will be announced separately. The next-generation Lexus ES delivers premium-class performance in an electric package — combining style, dynamics, and cutting-edge technology ready to conquer European roads.
